Smart Monitoring 2014 is the place where caregivers, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs discuss the latest and best approaches for care of trauma, sepsis, critical illness and combat casualties. This year, the two day meeting will include a workshop on Regulatory Challenges on Smart Monitors and Automated Critical Care, held by a team from the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). The workshop will address safe and effective connectivity, cyber-security and human factors related to automated critical care.
