Nov. 30-Dec. 4, 2012: AES (San Diego)
The American Epilepsy Society’s (AES) Annual Meeting was held November 30 through December 4, 2012 in San Diego, California. This year, Moberg Research exhibited the CNS Monitor’s unique ability to record continuous EEG integrated with physiology collected from other monitors. Built-in cEEG and multimodal monitoring capabilities make the CNS Monitor an ideal tool for the neuro ICU, where the prevalence of cEEG is rapidly expanding. Multimodal monitoring in the ICU setting has already begun to reveal correlations between seizure activity and changes in neurophysiology, including intracranial pressure, cerebral blood flow, brain oxygen and much more.
Moberg Research supports continued research in multimodal neuromonitoring with its CNS Technology, including the CNS Monitor and software tools for remote review, visualization and analysis. Moberg Research always enjoys the AES Annual Meeting’s updates on the advancements in the field of epilepsy and seizure disorders.
