Successful First Meeting of Informatics Working Group

More than 60 healthcare providers, researchers, and industry members attended the first meeting of the Working Group on Neurocritical Care Informatics. This meeting served to determine the scope of the group's efforts and plan how to maximize impact. Primary objectives include the following:
  • Develop recommendations to manufacturers for medical device connectivity in order to move toward more seamless data collection and integration.
  • Promote the expansion of Common Data Elements specific to our discipline in the effort to improve the quality of data annotations and encourage data sharing.
  • Produce a guide for the collection of physiologic data in neurocritical care for multi-center clinical trials.

Apple Watch Raffle Winners

Moberg awards Apple products to two winners at NCS meeting

During the 2015 Annual Neurocritical Care Society Meeting, many people entered in Moberg Research's raffle for an Apple Watch and an Apple Store gift card. To enter, attendees had to visit the booths of several companies whose products are compatible with the Moberg CNS Monitor for multimodal display.
Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to the two lucky winners, Diana Vance (pictured above with Dick Moberg, President, Moberg Research) and James Szalados, MD. Enjoy your new Apple products!
