NY Neurocritical Care: Multimodal Monitoring Case Studies

June 12th-14th, Moberg will travel to New York for the Symposium on Neurological Emergencies and Neurocritical Care to participate in workshops, demonstrate multimodal data integration and continuous EEG, and hear presentations on cutting-edge neurocritical care technology and practice.
“This year we’re particularly excited to contribute by presenting multimodal case studies during the Brain Monitoring workshop,” President Dick Moberg explained. “The cases come from CNS Monitor users who are discovering the value of highly time-synchronized multimodal data at the bedside.” Clinical Applications Specialist Tracey Berlin, MSN-Ed, RN, CCRN, CNRN will present the cases, some of which she recorded while using CNS Monitors in the neurosciences ICU at University of New Mexico. The workshop takes place the morning of Friday, June 14th.
At the exhibit booth, Moberg will demonstrate recent innovations with a preview of the mid-year software release for the CNS Monitor which contains 48 new features and enhancements suggested by our customers and colleagues. These enhancements include a new interface to collect absolute tissue oxygenation data from the CASMED FORE-SIGHT. Read more.

Integrated Absolute Tissue Oxygenation at ESA
The first week of June, Moberg Research will unveil its newest device interface which allows the CNS Monitor to display absolute cerebral oximetry from the CASMED FORE-SIGHT in real-time alongside EEG and parameters from various other devices. Moberg and CASMED will demonstrate the new connection at Euroanaesthesia 2013 (ESA 2013) in Barcelona. Together, we hope to advance care in anesthesia, critical care, and emergency medicine through comprehensive multimodal data integration. Read more.

Dick's Philly Tour
In upcoming issues of The Neuroscience Monitor, join our founder, Dick Moberg, on a unique tour of Philadelphia in preparation for the 11th Annual Neurocritical Care Society Meeting, October 1-4, 2013 (NCS 2013). Dick has called Philadelphia home for 44 years and established the headquarters for Moberg Research in a nearby suburb in 1998.
Check out these Philly facts:
-
Fairmount Park in Philadelphia is the largest city park in the world with over 8,000 acres.
-
Philadelphia is home of the Annual Mummers Parade. Don't know what that is? Watch this video to find out.
-
Philadelphia houses the most impressionist paintings outside of Paris.
