Mallinckrodt

When planning the U.S. introduction of their fetal oximeter, Mallinckrodt wanted to improve their training (from standard videos) both for their customers and to speed their journey through the FDA. Using only video, it was difficult to explain the proper positioning of the oximeter sensor once it entered the mother's womb. To solve this problem, Moberg Multimedia accurately modeled a fetus, the mother's womb, and the oximeter device.

Animations of these models were then used to show proper insertion and placement of the sensor. On site videos were shot to explain other aspects of the device's operation. Two training videos were produced which are sent with each unit. A CD-ROM was produced for use in lectures and at trade shows.
